About the author
David Spangler is a writer associated with the Findhorn Foundation community in Scotland, which he joined in the early 1970s and helped shape into a center for New Age and intentional-community thought. His many books explore consciousness, spirituality, and what he calls subtle worlds, including Apprenticed to Spirit and Subtle Worlds, both referenced within his later work. The Laws of Manifestation: A Consciousness Classic (Weiser Books, 2009) returns to ideas developed during his Findhorn years about attracting resources and support through intention and cooperation. A Midsummer's Journey with the Sidhe (Lorian Press, 2011), illustrated by Jeremy Berg, takes a more narrative, illustrated approach to Celtic faery lore and the Sidhe. Spangler's writing across decades has stayed close to themes of community, inner experience, and practical spirituality rather than ceremonial occult technique.
