About the author
Daniel J Duke writes books for Destiny Books investigating claimed hidden histories connected to the American outlaw Jesse James, including Secret History of the Wild, Wild West and Jesse James and the Lost Templar Treasure. Both books argue for links between James, secret societies such as the Freemasons and the Knights of the Golden Circle, and hidden treasure supposedly marked with coded maps and esoteric symbols. The approach draws on Templar and Rosicrucian lore, gematria, and sacred geometry to interpret historical figures and events, placing the books within the alternative-history and conspiracy-adjacent strand of occult publishing rather than conventional biography. They are aimed at readers already interested in speculative outlaw history and secret-society lore rather than academic historians, and the catalogue lists no other biographical information about the author.
