About the author
Cynthia Bohannon has written astrological reference works published by the American Federation of Astrologers, including North and South Nodes: Guideposts of the Spirit (2011) and Your Solar Return (2011). North and South Nodes addresses the lunar nodes as they appear in the natal chart, a factor long treated within astrology as connected to karmic themes and life purpose. Your Solar Return covers the annual solar return chart, describing it as a yearly marker that builds on the previous year's chart and can be read alongside it. Both books are technical, written for readers already familiar with chart interpretation rather than as introductions to astrology, and both were issued by the AFA, a long-established astrological membership organization and publisher. Bohannon's work sits within the specialized, chart-technique end of astrological publishing, aimed at practicing astrologers rather than a general audience.
