About the author
Chown is credited with two entries in Arcturus Editions' Teen Witches' Guide series, aimed at teenage readers new to witchcraft and divination. The Teen Witches' Guide to Palm Reading introduces palmistry as a beginner's divination practice, working through the main lines and mounts of the hand. The Teen Witches' Guide to Spells covers introductory spellcraft alongside divination and charm work, again pitched at a young, beginning audience. Both books are short, illustrated introductions rather than in-depth reference works, written in an accessible, encouraging tone for readers with no prior background in witchcraft. The catalogue gives no further identifying detail about the author beyond this single surname, so no claims can be made here about background or other work.
