About the author
Caesar 999 is credited as the author of The Satanic Bible (George A. Hart, first published 2005, with a 2020 revised hardcover edition), presented in the catalogue as the founding text of a system its author calls Spiritual Satanism 999. The book sets out Caesar's own religious and philosophical framework, described as having developed and changed over the years since its first printing. It is written from within the tradition it promotes, addressed to readers already interested in or sympathetic to Satanist belief systems, rather than offering outside historical or comparative analysis. Details of the author's life beyond the self-description in the books are not established here, and the text should be read as a personal statement of belief rather than a scholarly or neutral account of Satanism as a movement.
