About the author
Bruno Huber, together with his wife Louise Huber, developed Astrological Psychosynthesis, a method that applies Roberto Assagioli's psychosynthesis framework to horoscope interpretation, and co-founded what became the Astrological Psychology Institute in Switzerland. His book The Astrological Houses, a revised edition of the couple's earlier Man and His World (1978), sets out their approach to house interpretation as a tool for psychological self-understanding rather than prediction. Astrological Psychosynthesis extends the same premise, treating the horoscope as a map for growth toward what Assagioli called the higher self. Astrology and the Seven Rays connects Huber's method to esoteric ray theory, framing the seven rays as cosmic energies that intersect with a person's astrological profile. Across these books, Huber's astrology is consistently psychological rather than fatalistic, aimed at counselors and practitioners trained in or interested in the Huber method of chart reading rather than at casual readers.
