About the author
Athena Laz is the author of several works exploring dreams, myth and intuitive practice for Hay House and Tarcher. Her books include "Women Who Dance in the Dark: Awaken Your Inner Seer Through Myths, Dreams, and Stories" (Hay House, 2025), the "Sisterhood of the Seers Oracle" card deck (Hay House, 2025), and "The Alchemy of Your Dreams: A Modern Guide to the Ancient Art of Lucid Dreaming and Interpretation" (Tarcher). Across these titles she draws on archetypal frameworks, particularly the idea of the "Medial Woman" as an inner guide, and pairs them with myth, storytelling and dream interpretation. The oracle deck extends this material into a 44-card format organized around archetypal "seers." Laz's work sits in the dreams-astral and tarot-divination sections of the catalogue and is directed at readers interested in dreamwork, lucid dreaming and mythic or archetypal approaches to self-reflection.
