About the author
Annwyn Avalon writes on water-based magic within the Celtic tradition, with three books published by Weiser Books. Water Witchcraft: Magic and Lore from the Celtic Tradition (2019) sets out spells, rituals, and lore concerning water spirits and merfolk, and describes Avalon, in the book's own account, as a practicing water witch. The Way of the Water Priestess (2021) expands this into a hands-on guide for witches and pagans working with water for healing and protection, and Celtic Goddess Grimoire (2024) turns to invoking figures from the Celtic feminine divine through meditations and rituals. Across the three books Avalon builds a consistent body of practice centered on water, Celtic deity, and priestess work, addressed to practitioners of witchcraft and paganism rather than to general readers.
