About the author
Anita Croy is the author of nonfiction titles for the Rosen Central young-adult imprint examining historical claims of the paranormal. ESP Cases in History looks at reported instances of extrasensory perception across history, from Greek oracles to more recent cases, situating them within both historical record and popular culture. Demonic Possessions in History traces the concept of spirit possession through Christianity and other religious traditions, including its role in the European witch hunts. Both books, published in 2019, are written as accessible, research-based introductions for student readers rather than as arguments for or against the phenomena they describe.
