About the author
Ambrosia Hawthorn is the author of two beginner-focused witchcraft titles published by Callisto. The Wiccan Book of Shadows: A Magical Guide to Personalizing Your Own Spells and Rituals (2020) guides readers through building a personal book of shadows, covering Wiccan traditions and beliefs alongside practical steps for developing an individual practice. The Spell Book for New Witches: Essential Spells to Change Your Life introduces the basics of spellcasting, including the central philosophies behind casting a spell, for readers with little or no prior experience. Both books are written as introductory, workbook-style guides rather than reference texts, and are aimed squarely at readers beginning a Wiccan or witchcraft practice who want structured help creating their own rituals and spells.
