About the author
Alan Cohen is an American author and speaker known for inspirational and spiritual self-help books published largely by Hay House, including The Tao Made Easy, A Course in Miracles Made Easy: Mastering the Journey from Fear to Love, and Spirit Means Business: The Way to Prosper Wildly Without Selling Your Soul. His writing draws on New Thought and A Course in Miracles teachings, reframing ideas about forgiveness, purpose, and abundance in accessible, everyday language rather than academic or strictly religious terms. A Course in Miracles Made Easy works as a plain-language companion to that self-study text, while Spirit Means Business applies similar principles to career and money. Cohen has also written fiction in the same register, such as the parable Linden's Last Life. His books are catalogued under occult philosophy and are aimed at readers of popular spirituality and inspirational nonfiction rather than at scholars of esoteric traditions.
