This series presents a curated selection of unusual items drawn from the annals of human creativity. Published by Edward Brooke-Hitching, the volumes focus on the bizarre rather than the canonical. Each book isolates a specific domain of culture, examining artifacts that defy conventional explanation. The set includes distinct guides to visual arts, auditory history, and written works. Readers will find these titles connected by a shared interest in the marginal and the macabre. They do not form a narrative but rather serve as independent reference points for those interested in the fringes of art history. The consistent authorship provides a unified voice across diverse subjects.
