A friend in my study group recommended this one. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
Grabbed this during a weekend order. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. It's become a regular reference in my practice. The font runs small in the appendices. Good, with the caveats above.
This edition finally does the material justice. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Good, with the caveats above.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
