About the author

Zachary Lansdowne is the author of several books on esoteric and spiritual subjects published by Weiser Books, including The Chakras & Esoteric Healing, Rules for Spiritual Initiation, and Revelation of St. John: The Path to Soul Initiation. His writing engages with the Ageless Wisdom tradition associated with Alice A. Bailey, and Rules for Spiritual Initiation works directly from fourteen symbolic rules Bailey originally published, examining their stated outer and inner meanings. The Chakras & Esoteric Healing addresses the chakra system alongside meditation, psychic development, and related healing practices, while the Revelation of St. John book offers a symbolic reading of the biblical text through this same esoteric framework. The books are aimed at readers already familiar with theosophical and esoteric terminology who want a systematic, text-by-text approach rather than an introductory survey.
