About the author
William J Hall writes about two of Connecticut's best-documented haunting cases. In The World's Most Haunted House and The Bridgeport Poltergeist, he reconstructs the 1974 disturbances reported by police at a house on Lindley Street in Bridgeport, drawing on recorded testimony from the 1970s alongside newer interviews. A second strand of his catalogue, including Living in Ghost Central and The Haunted House Diaries, follows a family in a 1790 farmhouse in the Litchfield Hills who describe repeated encounters with presences in their home. Published by New Page Books and Rosen Young Adult between 2014 and 2016, several of the titles are aimed at young adult readers as well as general audiences interested in paranormal investigation. Hall's approach favors case documentation and witness testimony over doctrine, positioning his books as investigative accounts of specific, named locations rather than general guides to the occult.
