About the author
Suki Ferguson is the author of illustrated nonfiction for young readers on mythology, astrology, and divination. Astrologica: An Encyclopedia of Myths and Legends from the Planets, Stars and Skies (Wide Eyed Editions, 2025) follows her earlier Mythologica with a survey of how different cultures, from ancient China to early seafaring societies, have read meaning into the moon, stars, and constellations. Iniciación al Tarot, published in Spanish by Alfaguara Juvenil, introduces the history and symbolism of tarot as a system for reflection, aimed at younger readers new to the cards. Across both books, Ferguson writes as a popularizer, translating mythology and divinatory traditions into accessible, heavily illustrated formats for children and teenagers rather than producing material for practicing astrologers or tarot readers.
