About the author
Steve Hounsome writes on tarot as a therapeutic tool, drawing on his career as a professional psychic reader. His Tarot Therapy series, including Tarot Therapy Volume 1: Tarot for the New Millennium (Capall Bann, 2012) and Tarot Therapy Volume 3: The Map of the Quest (Spirit Seeker, 2012), presents the cards within a therapeutic framework, treating them as expressions of underlying psychological energies rather than purely predictive tools; the later volume focuses on the Minor Arcana. How to Be a Telephone Psychic (Tarot Therapy Ltd., 2014) draws on his twelve years managing readers for a major UK telephone psychic company, offering practical guidance for those working or wanting to work in that field. He has also produced The Tarot Therapy Deck, a companion deck illustrating each card's energy through imagery from the natural world.
