About the author
Shelley Kaehr writes on crystals, gemstones, and esoteric healing practices, publishing with A. R. E. Press and independent presses associated with the Edgar Cayce tradition. Her books, including Edgar Cayce's Sacred Stones (2015), an A-to-Z guide to the gems and stones referenced in the Cayce readings, work systematically through named materials and their traditional associations with healing, protection, and psychic development. Gemstone Journeys (2002) surveys techniques for working with gems and crystals said to derive from indigenous practices, illustrated with color photographs, while Crystal Skull Consciousness (2007) examines the thirteen crystal skulls found in Central and South America and the speculation surrounding their origins. Taken together, the books form a reference-and-practice set for readers already interested in crystal lore and the Cayce readings specifically, rather than a general introduction to mineralogy or New Age practice broadly. Kaehr writes for readers seeking structured, subject-by-subject guides rather than narrative or memoir.
