About the author

Sharon McLeod is the creator of two illustrated oracle card decks published by Llewellyn Publications. Oracle of the Wylder Ones: Messages and Affirmations from the Wylderness, from 2023, presents a set of nature-themed guide figures offering affirmations framed around curiosity and adventure. Mushroom Folk Oracle, scheduled for 2026, is a 42-card deck built around fungal and mycelial imagery, with accompanying figures the publisher describes as mushroom allies offering guidance drawn from the idea of the mycelium as an underground network. Both decks combine original artwork with guidebook text and are designed for use in everyday divination and reflection rather than as scholarly works. McLeod's work sits within the contemporary oracle-deck market aimed at readers who use illustrated card decks for personal guidance and affirmation practice.
