About the author
Roy Stemman is a journalist who spent decades writing for metaphysical publications and turned that reporting toward the subject of reincarnation and spirit communication. The Big Book of Reincarnation: Examining the Evidence That We Have All Lived Before, published by Hierophant Publishing in 2012, describes itself through a self-styled 'skeptical believer' approach, weighing evidence and testimony around past-life claims. One Soul, Many Lives: First Hand Stories of Reincarnation and the Striking Evidence of Past Lives, from Ulysses Press in 2005, gathers case investigations and personal accounts built from his research. Spirit Communication, published by Piatkus, is based on interviews with mediums and examines how communication with the deceased is reported to occur. Across the three books Stemman works as an investigator and compiler of testimony rather than a practitioner, addressing readers interested in the evidential case for an afterlife.
