About the author
Ross Allison is the author of Spooked in Seattle: A Haunted Handbook, published by Clerisy Press in 2011. The book leads readers through Seattle's neighborhoods, recounting the city's ghost stories and haunted locations alongside historical background on the sites involved. It is written in the guidebook tradition of regional haunted-history titles, organized around specific places a reader could visit rather than around a general theory of hauntings, and pairs local history with reported paranormal encounters. The book is aimed at readers with an interest in ghost tourism and Pacific Northwest local history, offering a route through the city's supposedly haunted sites rather than a broader treatment of paranormal investigation methods or theory.
