About the author
Rassouli is credited as the artist and author behind a series of illustrated oracle decks and poetry published by Llewellyn Publications, including Hafiz Oracle, Soul's Journey Oracle, Great Eastern Oracle, and Rumi Revealed: Selected Poems from the Divan of Shams. His work draws on Sufi poetic tradition, presenting visionary artwork alongside reinterpreted verse and guidance material connected to poets and mystics such as Hafiz and Rumi. The Great Eastern Oracle extends this further, featuring artwork tied to forty historical mystics across different eras and traditions. Across these titles, Rassouli's contribution is consistently visual and interpretive: paintings and imagery paired with short devotional or reflective text, packaged as boxed card sets and illustrated books rather than as scholarly translation or biography. The books suit readers interested in Sufi-inspired art and poetry, oracle-deck collectors, and those drawn to Rumi and Hafiz as looked at through a contemporary artistic lens.
