About the author
MJ Cullinane creates tarot and oracle decks centered on animals, published mainly by U.S. Games Systems and Hay House. Crow Tarot (2023) is a seventy-eight-card deck that reworks traditional Rider-Waite symbolism around crow and raven imagery, released in both standard and pocket editions. Wise Dog Tarot (2021) applies the same approach to dogs, and the Urban Crow Oracle: A 54-Card Deck and Guidebook (2022) follows as a companion oracle deck built around crow symbolism specifically. Across the catalogue, Cullinane pairs familiar tarot structure and meanings with a consistent animal motif, aimed at readers who want tarot's standard card system delivered through a particular visual and symbolic lens rather than a departure from traditional card meanings. The decks are designed for both newcomers drawn in by the animal artwork and experienced readers building a themed collection.
