About the author
Michael Johnstone is the author of The Book of Divination: A Guide to Predicting the Future, published by Sirius Entertainment in gold-embossed hardback editions in 2022 and 2023. The book surveys the history of divination practices, from reading tea leaves to tarot and palmistry, presenting them as long-standing human attempts to understand fate through imaginative and mystical means. Structured as a reference and overview rather than a hands-on practice manual, it moves across multiple divinatory traditions rather than focusing in depth on any single method. The book is aimed at readers wanting a broad, illustrated introduction to the range of divination practices and their history, suited to browsing rather than sequential study, and its packaging as a gift-style hardback suggests a general rather than specialist audience.
