About the author
Matt Fraser is a psychic medium and New York Times bestselling author whose books present themselves as guidance drawn from communication with the dead. His titles for Gallery Books include We Never Die: Secrets of the Afterlife (2023) and Don't Wait Till You're Dead: Spirits' Advice from the Afterlife (2024 and 2025 editions), both framed as accounts of what spirits have reportedly told him about living intentionally and about what follows death. Fraser markets himself as one of the best-known working mediums in the United States, and his books extend his public readings and media appearances into a self-help register, offering readers lessons attributed to messages received from the deceased. The books are aimed at readers already inclined toward spiritualism and mediumship rather than skeptics, and they sit alongside his earlier book When Heaven Calls in a continuing series on the afterlife.
