About the author

Marlo Scrimizzi is credited as the creator behind two novelty kits from Rp Minis, Himalayan Mood Lamp: Made with Real Salt! and Magic Crystal Ball: See the Future!, both released in 2018. These are small, gift-format items rather than conventional books: the mood lamp is a miniature salt lamp that cycles through colors associated with different moods, and the crystal ball is a battery-powered novelty that displays one of fifteen preset answers when a hand is passed over it, in the style of a fortune-telling toy. Both fall into the catalogue's lighter, gift-shop end, positioned under crystals and energy work and under tarot and divination respectively, and are aimed at buyers looking for a small, playful object rather than a text to read. They function more as desk or shelf novelties tied loosely to esoteric themes than as instructional or informational works, suited to casual gift buying rather than serious practice.
