About the author
Kim Huggens is a pivotal figure in contemporary esoteric thought, deeply engaged with the Gnostic Catholic Church (E.G.C.) and its role within the Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.). Her work centers on the profound philosophical and mystical system of Thelema, as articulated by Aleister Crowley and rooted in *The Book of the Law*. Huggens illuminates the universal scope of "Catholic" within the E.G.C., distinguishing it from traditional Christian doctrines. A key contribution is her exploration of the Gnostic Mass (Liber XV), Crowley's seminal eucharistic ritual, revealing its intricate construction influenced by both Russian Orthodox liturgy and O.T.O. initiatory practices. Through her insightful analyses, Huggens invites modern seekers to engage with these potent rituals and the transformative potential of Thelemic philosophy. Her writings bridge ancient Gnostic traditions with contemporary occult inquiry, offering a vital pathway for understanding spiritual liberation in the modern age.
