About the author
Hollister Rand is a psychic medium and the author of two books centered on communication with the deceased. I'm Not Dead, I'm Different: Kids in Spirit Teach Us about Living a Better Life on Earth, published by William Morrow & Company, presents messages she describes receiving from young people who have died, framed as lessons for the living. Everything You Wanted to Know about the Afterlife But Were Afraid to Ask, published by Atria Books and winner of the 2021 Gold Living Now Award and 2020 Silver Nautilus Book Award, expands into a broader exploration of what she describes as the nature of the afterlife. Both books present her work as a practicing medium delivering messages from spirits, aimed at readers already interested in mediumship and afterlife communication rather than a skeptical or academic treatment of the subject.
