About the author
Erin O Wallace Ghedi is the byline under which this catalogue lists three History Press titles on Texas ghost lore, overlapping with the Haunted Seguin and Haunted New Braunfels titles credited elsewhere to Erin O Wallace. Mysteries of the Magnolia Hotel (2018) centers on the 1874 axe murder of twelve-year-old Emma Voelcker in New Braunfels and the trial of the suspect Faust, who lodged at the Magnolia Hotel, following the case through to a later attack on Faust despite thirty-six armed guards. Haunted Seguin (2014) and Haunted New Braunfels (2013) cover reported hauntings tied to the defensive wall built around Seguin and to sites such as a former hardware and tinsmith shop. All three are short, address-specific regional ghost histories aimed at readers of local Texas lore rather than academic history.
