About the author
Denise Jarvie writes meditation guides published by Llewellyn Publications, centred on channelled material she attributes to a higher-self consciousness she calls Astar. The Flower of Life: Wisdom of Astar presents a card-based system built around the flower-of-life symbol, framed as a tool for accessing inner potential. The Flower of Life Meditations: Wisdom of Astar (2015) extends this into a set of guided meditations described as collaborations between Jarvie and Astar. 11.11 Meditations CD: A Journey of Remembrance (2015) offers a further set of audio meditations intended to support self-knowledge and personal transformation. Across these works Jarvie's material is presented as channelled rather than researched or historical, aimed at readers already drawn to meditation and higher-self or spirit-guide practices rather than newcomers seeking an introduction to meditation in general. The books function primarily as practice tools rather than explanatory texts.
