About the author
Concetta Bertoldi is a New York Times bestselling author and self-described medium whose books present her communications with the deceased in a conversational, often humorous voice. Do Dead People Watch You Shower? (2007) and its follow-up Do Dead People Walk Their Dogs? (2009), both from William Morrow, are structured as reader questions answered from her perspective as a medium, ranging from sentimental to irreverent. Inside the Other Side (2012) continues in the same format, and I Kissed a Ghost (and I Liked It) (2019) recounts her experiences in a reality-television-adjacent, first-person narrative. Bertoldi, a self-identified 'Jersey girl,' writes for readers curious about mediumship and messages from deceased loved ones, in a popular rather than academic register; her books do not attempt to substantiate the practices they describe.
