About the author
Ciro Marchetti is a digital artist known for a body of tarot, oracle and lenormand decks built from richly rendered, theatrical digital imagery, most published through U.S. Games Systems and Llewellyn. His Marchetti Tarot (2024) reimagines the 78 cards as a theatrical ensemble with a strong narrative and mythological sensibility, while the Gilded Reverie Lenormand and Fin de Siecle Kipper decks apply his style to older European fortune-telling systems, the latter set in Victorian England. Oracle of Visions departs from single-theme oracle decks, drawing archetypal figures from theater, carnival and other areas of life, and Legacy of the Divine Tarot reworks the Rider-Waite-Smith structure inside an original fantasy setting. Across these decks, Marchetti's work is recognizable for its cinematic lighting and detailed digital painting rather than hand-drawn or traditional card art, appealing to readers and collectors drawn to visually elaborate divination tools.
