About the author
Cecilia Lattari is the illustrator and author behind a series of tarot and oracle decks published mainly by U.S. Games Systems, including Magical Hours Tarot, Zodiac Tarot in a Tin, and Herbana Witch Oracle, as well as Mystical Forest Tarot from Andrews McMeel Publishing. Her decks consistently draw on nature imagery, moving through themes of seasons, forests, herbs, and celestial cycles, and are paired with illustrated guidebooks explaining card meanings and use. Witches and Weeds, published by Ixia Press, extends this focus into a nonfiction look at the folk-magic uses of wild herbs and their historical association with witchcraft. Across these titles, Lattari's work is aimed at readers who use tarot and oracle cards as tools for reflection and who are drawn to nature-based, illustrated decks rather than text-heavy divination manuals.
