About the author
Catherine Davidson is credited on Cats Rule the Earth Tarot, a seventy-eight-card deck and guidebook from Harry N. Abrams that reworks tarot imagery around cat illustrations, and its companion Cats Rule the Earth Tarot Coloring Book. The deck pairs traditional tarot structure and card meanings with cat-themed artwork throughout, while the coloring book adapts the same designs into line art for colorists. Together the two titles are aimed at readers who want a lighter, novelty entry point into tarot, combining an established divination format with a niche appeal to cat lovers, rather than a scholarly or in-depth treatment of tarot history or interpretation. Both books are published as gift-oriented items within Abrams's illustrated tarot line.
