About the author
Cassandra Snow is the author of Queering the Tarot and Queering Your Craft: Witchcraft from the Margins, both published by Weiser Books, and the editor of the 2025 anthology Tarot in Other Words, which collects essays from queer tarot writers. Snow's work reinterprets standard tarot card meanings and witchcraft practice through a queer lens, addressing readers who have not seen themselves reflected in conventional tarot or Pagan literature. Queering Your Craft combines journal prompts, rituals, and spells aimed at LGBTQ practitioners, while Queering the Tarot works through the deck's traditional archetypes to propose alternative, more inclusive readings. Taken together, the books position Snow as a recurring voice in Weiser's tarot catalogue focused on marginalized perspectives within divination and witchcraft communities, for readers seeking tarot practice outside its conventional framing.
