About the author
Casey Zabala is the creator of the Wanderer's Tarot, a seventy-eight-card deck published by Weiser Books along with its companion guidebook, and of the Wyrd Sisters oracle deck. The Wanderer's Tarot was built around feminine wisdom and elemental symbolism, and its guidebook offers card-by-card interpretations, reversals, and sample spreads alongside a short history of tarot. Zabala also contributed to A Confluence of Witches, a 2024 Weiser anthology gathering contemporary voices on witchcraft, magic, and social justice. Across these projects the work centers on hand-illustrated divination tools and collective, community-oriented approaches to contemporary witchcraft, aimed at readers building a personal tarot or oracle practice rather than at newcomers to the subject. The books are consistently published through Weiser, a press associated with esoteric and occult titles.
