About the author
Brett Bevell writes on Reiki, the energy-healing practice, across several books that build on one another. Reiki for Spiritual Healing and The Reiki Magic Guide to Self-Attunement (Crossing Press) focus on extending Reiki beyond physical healing toward spiritual practice and self-attunement without a formal teacher. New Reiki Software for Divine Living (Ayni Books, 2013) frames Reiki as a kind of spiritual technology that can be adapted to different areas of life. Psychic Reiki (Monkfish Book Publishing, 2018) is presented as a culmination of his earlier work, combining established techniques with newer material into a single system. Across these titles Bevell treats Reiki as an evolving practice open to individual adaptation, aimed at readers already familiar with or drawn to energy healing rather than newcomers to the subject.
