About the author
Bartholomew is not a conventional author name but the identity under which a series of channeled spiritual teachings has been published by Hay House, including From the Heart of a Gentle Brother (1998) and Planetary Brother. The books present themselves as messages received through trance channeling, addressed to readers seeking guidance on love, acceptance, and inner peace, and extending that guidance toward ideas of global harmony and collective destiny. They belong to the channeled-teachings strand of New Age publishing that grew through Hay House from the 1980s onward, alongside similar entities and guides presented by other channelers. Readers who pick up a Bartholomew title are typically already familiar with the channeling genre and looking for devotional, affirmational reading rather than instructional or historical material.
