About the author
Ambi Sun is the creator of the Oriens Animal Tarot, published by Rockpool Publishing in both a standard and a pocket edition. The deck uses animal imagery, drawing on mythical and natural symbolism, to build a tarot system centered on connecting with nature through the cards. Rockpool markets the deck as suitable for beginners as well as experienced tarot readers, and both editions include supporting material explaining the card meanings and the deck's animal symbolism. As a deck-based rather than text-based project, Ambi Sun's work in this catalogue is aimed at tarot readers and collectors drawn to nature and animal themes as an alternative to traditional tarot imagery.
