About the author
Alice Ekrek is the author of two tarot-related activity books published by Sirius Entertainment. Create Your Own Tarot Deck: With a Full Set of Cards to Color (2020) provides 78 press-out cards along with guidance on the meaning of each card, letting readers build and personalize a deck by hand. Color Your Own Tarot Book & Card Deck follows the same format, pairing a 64-page guidebook with 78 cards based on the Rider-Waite-Smith deck for readers to color and customize. Both books combine an introduction to tarot symbolism with a craft component, making them suited to readers who want to learn the cards through a slower, hands-on process rather than by working with a pre-printed deck. They are pitched at beginners and at colorists or crafters with an interest in divination imagery, rather than at experienced readers looking for advanced interpretive material.
