This exceeded my expectations. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Glad I finally picked this up.
I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. A text you study rather than simply read. The font runs small in the appendices. Still worth having on the shelf.
A friend in my study group recommended this one. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
