I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Still worth having on the shelf.
Was skeptical at first. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. A keeper.
This edition finally does the material justice. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. Glad I finally picked this up.
