Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. Glad I finally picked this up.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. The font runs small in the appendices. Happy enough with the purchase.
Exactly what I was looking for. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Recommended with reservations.
