Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. The font runs small in the appendices. Still worth having on the shelf.
This has been on my wishlist for months. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. Shipping was quick too.
This edition finally does the material justice. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Solid, if not essential.
My book club chose this last month. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Happy enough with the purchase.
My book club chose this last month. A text you study rather than simply read. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point.
