I keep coming back to this one. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Good, with the caveats above.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Still worth having on the shelf.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. You can tell why this work has endured. Deserves a place on any esoteric bookshelf.
I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. Every rereading turns up something I missed.
First purchase from this shop. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Recommended with reservations.
