Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. Already eyeing my next order.
Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers.
I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Would buy from this store again.
This has been on my wishlist for months. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Good, with the caveats above.
