Finally got around to ordering this. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. A text you study rather than simply read. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. Still worth having on the shelf.
A friend in my study group recommended this one. You can tell why this work has endured. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Solid, if not essential.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure.
This edition finally does the material justice. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. A keeper.
