Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. Great value for what you get.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. It's become a regular reference in my practice. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Still worth having on the shelf.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Every rereading turns up something I missed. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Recommended with reservations.
