Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. A text you study rather than simply read. The font runs small in the appendices. Still worth having on the shelf.
I keep coming back to this one. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Good, with the caveats above.
Added this to my reference shelf. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Solid, if not essential.
This has been on my wishlist for months. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Solid, if not essential.
Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure.
