My book club chose this last month. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Happy enough with the purchase.
Finally got around to ordering this. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
I keep coming back to this one. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Solid, if not essential.
Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. One of my better finds this year.
